Minimum Entry Requirements
Qualifications
You must hold a minimum L4 Diploma in counselling and/or psychotherapy. If you are a mental health practitioner who is interested in this coach training programme, please do contact us to discuss your individual circumstances.
Registration
You must be on a Professional Standards Authority (PSA) or equivalent register, held by a professional body, e.g., BACP, UKCP, NCPS, HCPC etc
Experience
You must have been working as a mental health practitioner for a minimum of two years post-qualification
Supervision
You must have an active and current supervision arrangement that meets the standards of your professional registration
Insurance
You must have professional indemnity insurance for your mental health work and, before you commence direct coaching work with clients, must inform your insurance of this addition to your practice
Ethics
As part of your professional registration, you must be committed to working in according with the ethical requirements of your professional body
Complaints
You will need to confirm there are no current or outstanding professional conduct proceedings against you
